Anna's 6th birthday bash

It is hard to believe that our little girl is 6.  Her big gift was a new American Girl doll and we took a few friends to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory followed by a shopping trip to the American Girl store.  Fun times.

First, some random pictures...

And now, the unboxing of Saige.  The picture of Anna hugging her new doll was just so touching, it had to be big!

Next, lunch with giggly girls at the cheesecake factory...

And now, for the sparkliest (is that even a word?) pages I have created to date:

The above pages were created using Lori Whitlock and Project Life Templates, Journal card "halvsies" by Splendid Fiins and journal cards and papers from the February kit by Splendid Fiins.  The American girl pages were created using the "All American Girl" kit by Wyld Peas on Etsy.

Getting pages done...

I have newfound momentum to get these pages rolling.  My oldest daughter, who is now 6, asked me why we don't have a closet full of photo albums "like grandma and grandpa do".  I realized that I am the main memory keeper in our family and, as such, I need to get on it!  Two more pages between yesterday and today.  I'm pretty pleased with them!

Some February pages:

Up next... Anna's American Girl girl of the year, Saige, birthday unboxing and her 6th birthday party!  Above pages done with elements from Splendid Fiins and the Miss Mint Life in Pictures collection.
